Rita Harris (CEO | President & Founder)
Residing in Buckhead, Georgia, Rita is a graduate of the Walton County School System in Monroe, Georgia, and continued education in Business Administration in Athens, GA. Rita also hold certifications in Advance Leadership Training as well as Certified Peer Supporter.
With a heart of passion to serve others, Rita is a member of the Madison Lions Club in Madison Georgia serving on the district level as Past District Governor for District 18-I Lions of Georgia.
Rita’s personal journey of living with loss of vision reflects her passion for Living Life Team, Inc. in “Making A Difference”.
Emma Wiseman (Treasurer)
A resident of Atlanta Georgia, Emma graduated from Walton County School System. Furthering her education, she attended Albany State University earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education/Accounting. She is a retired Property & Casualty Insurance Underwriter, Licensed Agent from 1982-2022.
In her spare time, Emma enjoy working through her passion for Living Life Team, Inc. by volunteering her services ti help others. Emma brings her expertise to this organization by providing professional experience, education and many years in the workforce of business.
Diane Wyatt (Secretary)
Diane is a native of Madison, Georgia. She is a graduate of Morgan County High School and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology and Secretarial Science.Diane is currently employed with the Morgan County Board of Education where she holds the position of Registrar and Attendance Clerk.
She is a valuable asset to the Living Life Team, Inc. Board as she contributes her exceptional secretarial, organizational, and technology skills.
Passionate about helping others, Diane receives joy from supporting her community which is a reflection of her life deep commitment to love and support others.
Board Members
Henry Harris
A native of Madison, Georgia, Henry is a graduate of Morgan County School System. Henry has over 35 years in Retail Management. After retiring from Retail, Henry became employed with the Morgan County Sheriff Department as a Detention Officer where he made a positive impact of those incarcerated. Later he held the position of Detail Officer where he elevated the level of impacting lives through mentorship.
Now being retired from the workforce, he is fully dedicated and committed to Living Life Team, Inc. where he continues to serve and help others.
Dorothy Griffin
Dorothy is a legally blind resident of Atlanta Georgia by way of Indiana. She holds an Associate Degree in Teacher Education from DeKalb College. Dorothy is President of National Federation of the Blind of Georgia Affiliate as well as a Chapter President, the Outreach Manager for the NFB Newsline Service, and Entrepreneur. Her lifelong commitment is advocating to raise expectations of the blind and low vision in the community.
Dorothy enjoy serving on Living Life Team, Inc. Board of Directors as this allows her to incorporate her background of expertise in helping clients broaden their horizons.
Reverend Dr. Yvonne Davenport
A native of Athens Georgia, Dr. Davenport feels blessed to hold a Doctorate in Divinity, a Master’s in Public Administration, and an undergraduate degree in Journalism. Additionally, she is certified in Mediation.
She is currently the Program Manager for VISTAS Center in Athens, Georgia supporting clients with visual impairment. Dr. Davenport is a retiree from Division of Family and Children Services where she served as the State Constituent Services Director.
Dr. Davenport brings her extensive experience on board in collaboration with Living Life Team, Inc. as well as serving those with vision loss.
Nancy Parkin Bashizi (Non Voting Advisor)
Earning a Master’s Degree in Orientation and Mobility and Vision Rehabilitation Teaching for the Blind from the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, Nancy has 30 years of experience working in the field of Vision Rehabilitation in Georgia. In addition, Nancy has worn other hats such as; Program Director and Lead Teacher for Vision Rehabilitation Service of Georgia, Rehabilitation of Persons who are deaf-blind, Developing Job Readiness, Employment and Transition Programs, Mentoring Interns and those expanding their certification in the field, Writing and Presenting Webinars, courses and training, Program Evaluation with AER, ACVREP and MSU, and started her ownRehabilitation Company.
Nancy’s passion for her field of work is exemplified through volunteering in her spare time as the Kayaking Program Lead for Georgia Blind Sports and assists with Catalyst Sports Program. She brings he years of experience to Living Life Team Board of Directors in giving professional training advise as well as leading all workshops and trainings.
