Peer Relationships
Engage in conversation with others who share vision loss. You can express yourself in open discussions on issues you may be facing. Also enjoy the collaboration of exchanging ideas and tips that may be helpful. Your peer network is formed at our monthly meetings, on the phone with a peer partner, and through our many fun events, outings, and activities. Join today and meet new friends.
Morale and Fun
We incorporate fun and laughter through team building games and outings. You will experience an increase of self esteem and confidence when you participate in our “Everyone is a Winner” activities. Your Road to Independence
We provide workshop training using certified instructors to teach orientation and mobility for navigating outside the home, daily living skills for cooking, cleaning and organizing your pantries, closets and medications. Technology training with assistive devices for computers and smartphones. There is a world of devices, tools and resources for you to use in your daily routine. Your peer partner will help you pick out the resources to improve your daily quality of life. Our group activities help everyone gain or refine useful skills. Our outings improve our self esteem and increase the joy and laughter in our days. Your independence starts today.
